1.Quality standard
a. Appearance: Dark brown powder
b. PH value: 8+1(10% peroxide solution)
c. Fineness: remainder screened by 60- mesh sieve ≤ 10%
d. Others: non-toxic; noncombustible and non-rubiginous to iron bar.
2. Technical performance
a. Mixing with the N-series High Range Water Reducers, the water- reducing rate of concrete could reach about 16%;Concrete strength on the first 、the third、the seventh、the 28th and the 90th day could be increased by 10%、40%、30%、25% and 10% respectively.
b. Under the condition of the same caving in and strength, mixing with the N-series High Range Water Reducers could save cement from15-20%.
c. The air content of concrete could be increased by 1-2%. Anti-frozen、anti-pervious、 antishrinkage and other physical mechanics performance of the concrete effected by the abovementioned water reducer excels the one unaffected.
d. Excellent adaptability to Portland cement
e. The postponement of concreting is around 2-4 hours.
3. Scope of application
a. Apply to Natural curing concrete and aerated concrete
b. Apply to compound lean concrete and high strength concrete
c. Apply to all types of Portland cement
4. Application method
a. The quantity scope to be mixed :0.4-1.2% of the weight of cement, better performance will be given if the scope could be controlled by 0.5-0.8%.
b. The N-series High Range Water Reducers could be :
1. directly mixed in cement or
2. compounded to solution before mixing with water added to cement.
If 1, it must be mixed round with cement and aggregate over 30 seconds before adding water, the time of churning up with water shouldn’t less than 2 minutes.
5. Packing and storage
It should be packed in plastic bags and must be stocked in dry place. If it is affected with damp agglomerates, it should be crashed and screened with 30-mesh sieve before using.
